FAQ
Q: How do I connect my coding agent?
Open Settings → Hooks, pick the agent you use, and click Copy Command. Paste the command into Terminal and run it once. The status dot turns green as soon as the first event arrives.
Q: What do the three states mean?
- waiting — the agent is asking you for input, and an alert pops up if you are idle.
- running — the agent is currently working.
- idle — the session is open but not working.
If a session’s state cannot be determined, the session still appears but no state label is shown.
Q: Why don’t I see a session I expect?
AgentsIdle only lists sessions that belong to the current project, and it refreshes the full list every five minutes. Closed or very old sessions are dropped.
Q: Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs locally; the status server only listens on 127.0.0.1. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Q: Can I use it without the idle alert?
Yes. Turn off Monitoring to keep the status panel without full-screen reminders, or adjust the idle threshold in Settings.
